The rich have sequestered us to a life of surviving on crumbs while they amass wealth equivalent to small countries. Once upon a time they laughed about letting us eat cake and the people met them with the equivalent of their own violence. Somehow, the crumbs have become tolerated as bigotry, phobias, and pure ignorance has become the norm. Confined by strict religions and blinded by the rat race the people have forgotten their humanity.
The interconnectedness of the majority is rightly envied by the 1%. But the 99% are in a deep state of rest. What are they resting for? And what comes next?
